Creating a Future-Ready Environment with SAP Solutions

La Trobe University, a public research university in Melbourne with over 35,000 students and 3,200 staff across multiple campuses, needed to stand out in a competitive higher-education market. The university aimed to reduce employee workload, automate reporting and data aggregation, and build a future-ready technology environment to attract and retain students, researchers, and staff.

La Trobe adopted a suite of SAP solutions — including SAP HANA Cloud Integration (via the Early Adopter Care program), SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, SAP Time and Attendance Management, and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central — to create a single, logical view of financial and HR data. The rollout improved data access and risk management, nearly eliminated paper-based processes, sped up reporting and HR decisions, and is expected to reduce employee workload by about 10%.
