Runbook Company, a 60-person Netherlands-based firm, builds finance automation add-ons for SAP ERP such as SMART Close and TRUE Reconciliation. Facing customer demand to run those tools on SAP HANA and SAP Simple Finance, Runbook needed SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) approvals to speed deployments, reduce validation effort, and become the vendor of choice for finance add-ons.

Runbook ported its products to the SAP HANA platform, worked with SAP ICC to meet ABAP packaging and performance standards, and earned SAP-certified integration showing 100% compatibility with SAP Simple Finance on HANA. The certification accelerated customer pilots, reduced implementation testing, strengthened Runbook’s competitive position, and enabled customers to move toward a central ledger with greater confidence and faster adoption.
