A SAP HANA Case Study
Reach Surgical, a Tianjin-based maker of automatic staplers and minimally invasive surgery products used in hospitals worldwide, faced rising demand for minimally invasive and trauma-care devices and aimed to grow as a low-cost global leader. To support rapid expansion it needed integrated, scalable processes and better visibility and control over finance and supplier relationships.
The company became the first in Asia to adopt SAP S/4HANA®, integrating all lines of business and streamlining operations. Implemented in six months at roughly 10% of competitors’ cost, the solution enabled record-speed sales processing and invoicing (4 million orders processed on day one), a five-day reduction in the monthly close, faster costing, and improved supplier visibility and control.
