A SAP Business One Case Study
Inabata & Co., Ltd., a Japan-based wholesale distribution and trading company, needed to strengthen global governance as it expanded across 17 countries and more than 60 locations. SAP Business One’s parent SAP helped address the challenge of fragmented core systems and delayed standardization, with the company looking for a way to centralize business information, improve risk management, and standardize processes across overseas subsidiaries.
SAP Business One’s SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud and SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA were used to build a shared cloud-based infrastructure and roll out a standardized ERP template globally, starting with a pilot in Malaysia. The results included 100% data sharing with group trading companies overseas, 50% improved efficiency in financial closing, and 50% faster core system implementation to overseas locations, cutting launch time to about six months per site.
