SKH Metals Limited, part of the Krishna Group and a major supplier of automotive components across India, needed to standardize procurement processes, remove time-consuming manual buyer–supplier interactions, and make bidding more transparent to boost negotiating leverage and control costs.
By deploying Ariba Sourcing and requiring supplier self-registration, SKH quickly onboarded more than 100 suppliers (training 95% of them) and ran over 50 reverse auctions in eight months. The automated, competitive online process delivered about 16% cost savings, more bidders per event, faster and fairer negotiations, and clearer, more transparent contract management.
