PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC), a Bangkok-based petrochemical and refinery company with about 4,000 employees and US$17.4 billion in revenue, faced a fragmented procurement model spread across 18 plants and 21 locations. To scale rapidly, manage volatile markets and align purchasing with corporate strategy, the company needed to centralize, standardize and automate procurement processes and spending controls.

PTTGC implemented SAP Ariba solutions—Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing, Contracts and Ariba Network—to centralize procurement, enable paperless workflows and improve compliance.
