John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH) is Sri Lanka’s largest listed conglomerate, operating more than 70 companies across seven industries. The group relied on a largely manual, paper-based sourcing process that was time-consuming, opaque, and inefficient—creating a need to speed up procurement, reduce costs, cut paperwork, and manage sourcing across many product categories.

Working with Cloudway Consulting, JKH implemented SAP Ariba solutions to automate e-procurement, contracts, supplier information, and discovery. The move eliminated manual paperwork, reduced cycle times and contract lead time by 3–4 hours, increased transparency and supplier reach, and delivered about 10% average savings on purchases—benefits the company can pass on to its customers, with employees rating the platform highly.
