ITP Aero, a Zamudio, Spain–based aerospace supplier that designs, manufactures, and maintains engine parts, faced mounting pressure to ensure quality, speed, and accuracy across a complex global supply chain of about 150 suppliers. Heavy reliance on phone and e‑mail communications and disparate processes made it difficult to maintain visibility, traceability, and timely material flow needed to ramp up manufacturing.

By deploying SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration for Buyers with support from DXC Technology, ITP Aero moved supplier communications to a cloud-based network, consolidating direct‑spend operations and standardizing procurement. The change improved collaboration and online visibility, reduced errors and manual effort, optimized logistics and inventory levels, freed staff for strategic work, and laid the groundwork to scale collaboration to more than 1,000 indirect suppliers while integrating with SAP S/4HANA.
