Managing very high volumes of purchase orders and invoices manually led to transactional inefficiencies, duplicated work, frequent errors and poor PO–invoice matching, so the company needed a more cost‑effective, accurate process.
Sotreq implemented a fully paperless purchase‑to‑order process using Ariba’s Quadrem Network to handle RFQs, order confirmations and invoice submission electronically, creating a single view of data across departments. The automation boosted order accuracy to nearly 100%, shortened transaction and delivery cycles, eliminated duplication and data inconsistencies, reduced administrative errors, and improved receivables accuracy and cash flow.
