Clariant deployed Ariba Procurement Content, Ariba PO Automation (in 21 countries) and Ariba Invoice Automation (in Germany and Switzerland), integrated with its existing SAP SRM/ERP landscape and supported by Ariba services to onboard catalogs and suppliers. The rollout created a consumer-like shopping experience, enabled purchasing of all indirect goods and services through its SAP system, increased order accuracy, reduced noncatalog and maverick spend, streamlined invoice processing, and freed procurement to focus on higher-value activities.
