CA Technologies, a global software leader, needed to simplify and standardize internal requisitioning and invoice processing to improve adoption and efficiency across its worldwide operations. The company sought a single, user-friendly procurement interface, stronger supplier collaboration, and scalable, global procure-to-pay processes.

CA implemented Ariba solutions (including Procurement Content, Invoice Professional and others) and connected them to its back-end SAP systems, rolling key functionality out to 35 countries and a complete procure-to-pay flow in North America. Results included a 92% electronic invoice submission rate in North America, catalog enablement time cut from 6 weeks to under 2 (>65% faster), PO cycle time reduced to 2.5 days (from 6), mobile/offline approvals, and streamlined supplier connectivity via the Ariba Network.
