Britvic, the largest supplier of branded soft drinks in Great Britain, needed to modernize outdated procurement and supply chain processes that were slowing buying, invoicing, and visibility across the business. Employees often didn’t know the correct suppliers or processes to use, while procurement, finance, and accounts payable lacked consistent data and struggled with inaccurate invoices. Britvic turned to SAP Ariba solutions to create a unified source-to-pay approach.

SAP Ariba helped Britvic transform procurement across Great Britain and Ireland with a phased source-to-contract, procure-to-pay, and supply chain collaboration rollout. The results include more than £15 million in pipeline value, £33 million in working capital, £115 million of indirect spend under catalog, and 86% of PO requisitions handled self-serve. SAP Ariba also helped reduce invoice processing time targets from 11 days to 5 days and improve transparency by moving indirect POs through SAP Business Network.
