Armed Forces Construction Group, LLC is a Veterans Administration/ADA–certified contractor founded in 2007 that supplies crews of skilled veterans for commercial and residential construction across dozens of cities in 12 states. Director of Operations Sam Crawford aimed to expand to all 50 states but needed a better way to identify and win more project opportunities after relying on general search engines and achieving a poor close rate.

Crawford adopted SAP Ariba Discovery to connect directly with buyers and quickly began receiving a higher volume of qualified leads and larger project opportunities. Since joining, the company has responded to more than 100 RFPs, been shortlisted for about 50% of them and closed over 30%, gaining relationships with major customers (malls, hotels, casinos) and plans to continue expanding with upgraded Ariba services.
