AmBank Group, one of Malaysia’s leading financial services firms, needed to treat procurement with the same rigor as its assets to support market leadership. The bank sought greater procurement agility, transparency and compliance, and increased savings across sourcing and spend management to fuel long-term profitable growth.

AmBank implemented Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Procure-to-Pay and the Ariba Network to automate paper-based processes, enable suppliers and drive adoption. Within six months it onboarded 800 suppliers, managed over 70% of annual spend electronically across 12,000 users, exceeded strategic sourcing savings targets by more than 30%, achieved an estimated 15% sourcing savings, processed 29,000 invoices annually with touchless processing and cut invoice approval and processing times by 75%, delivering sustained year‑on‑year savings.
