A Sangoma Case Study
O’Brien Automotive Team, a multi-state automotive dealership group with nearly 500 employees, needed a replacement for its aging Asterisk-based phone systems after the third-party support provider went out of business. They turned to Sangoma to preserve the flexibility of their existing environment while moving to a fully supported business communications platform.
Sangoma implemented FreePBX and then PBXact phone systems, along with SIPStation SIP trunking and Sangoma IP phones. The new setup centralized communications across all locations, enabled easy call routing with IVR and call parking, and eliminated the need for leased lines through an IAX connection, helping O’Brien save money and improve reliability and responsiveness.
