Globus Eight, a global system integration company with offices in India and the USA, needed a more affordable and unified business communication system. Their existing mix of traditional phone lines and cell phones was costly, lacked key business calling features, and did not provide capabilities such as auto-attendant, voicemail, conferencing, call recording, or call campaigns.

To solve this, Sangoma implemented FreePBX with commercial add-ons including Class of Service, Fax Pro, and Call Recording Reports, deploying separate FreePBX instances in India and the US connected via an IAX2 trunk. The new system enabled seamless internal and external calling, IVRs, voicemail, queues, conferencing, and faxing, while cutting business communication costs by 90% and reducing monthly telephone overhead to a minimum.
