Fourteen IP - Customer Case Study

Fourteen IP, a leading global provider of cloud-based telephony for hotels, needed a modern way to replace aging on-premise PBX systems without forcing customers to remove the analog phones already installed in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and other hotel areas. The company also needed a solution that was affordable, easy to manage, and resilient if internet connectivity failed. To support its Evolution Voice hospitality platform, Fourteen IP turned to Sangoma.

Sangoma provided Vega 3000G and Vega 3050G analog VoIP gateways, which connect legacy hotel phones to the cloud over existing internet connections while integrating with BroadWorks. The deployment let Fourteen IP preserve existing analog devices, deliver cloud telephony features, and add disaster recovery capabilities, including local handset communication and outbound emergency calling during outages. As a result, the solution became a standard part of Fourteen IP’s offering, and the company has since deployed hundreds of additional Sangoma Vega gateways for other services.
