Exchange Communications Goes Into Production With Sangoma Technology

Exchange Communications, an Albuquerque-based provider of network and telephony infrastructure services for film and TV productions, needed a fast and reliable way to deploy communications in temporary, often remote locations. Their challenge was delivering voice and fax services on very short timelines, while still supporting a fax-heavy workflow for sending call sheets and other critical documents.

To address this, Exchange Communications adopted Sangoma’s FaxxBochs Fax-over-IP service and later added Sangoma FreePBX devices for rapid VoIP deployment. The solution let them quickly ship reusable units, plug them into local networks, and bring service online with minimal IT setup. As a result, Exchange Communications could deploy roughly 50 to 100 FaxxBochs units per year, speed phone-system rollouts, and provide reliable fax and voice services at lower cost and with greater flexibility.
