JS Bank Pakistan - Customer Case Study

JS Bank Pakistan, a commercial bank with a large network of branches, needed to replace over 5,000 desktop PCs with a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Their key challenges were ensuring high availability and preventing data leakage for their SWIFT department, while also reducing operating costs and simplifying management for their normal office users. To address this, they partnered with Sangfor Technologies to implement a Sangfor VDI solution.

Sangfor Technologies deployed a solution using Sangfor HCI (Hyperconverged Infrastructure) to run virtual desktops, initially for 60 users and later scaling to 120. The solution centralized data on servers with configurable security policies, provided high availability to prevent data loss, and used Linux to eliminate Windows licensing costs. The results for JS Bank included stronger data protection, significant cost savings, and easier centralized management through Sangfor's integrated platform.
