Case Study: nTelos achieves consolidated subscriber services and revenue assurance with Sandvine

nTelos used the opportunity to overhaul their Subscriber Services delivery

nTelos Wireless, a regional provider serving parts of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, launched LTE in 2013 and needed a PCEF that met LTE standards while also upgrading billing management. The LTE rollout presented an opportunity to simplify and harmonize subscriber services delivery for both prepaid and postpaid customers.

nTelos leveraged the Sandvine Policy Traffic Switch already in their network and adopted Sandvine’s 3GPP‑compliant Usage Management and configurable data‑record generation. This consolidated operations, enabled billing reconciliation and revenue protection across 3G and 4G, and ensured accurate customer billing while maintaining service quality.
