I-New Enables weex to Share a Data Plan

I-New partnered with Sandvine to help weex, an MVNO, differentiate in a crowded market by offering affordable, targeted data experiences. The challenge was to attract cost-conscious customers and create advertiser-funded offerings that would drive adoption without compromising network control or billing flexibility.

Using I-New’s MVNO‑in‑a‑Box and Sandvine’s online charging and policy enforcement, weex launched an app-based platform for customizable micro‑packages and sponsored data: new users get three months’ free access to WhatsApp, Line and Telegram, while Coca‑Cola sponsors 30 minutes/day to FM Coke and Sprite apps. The result: faster customer acquisition, clear competitive differentiation for the MVNO, and new advertiser reach through tailored, application‑specific data promotions.
