A SanDisk Case Study
OpenDNS is a cloud-delivered network security provider (Umbrella) that protects devices and traffic everywhere—from headquarters to mobile users. Because delays in detecting or responding to attacks can cost clients millions, OpenDNS needed faster, lower-latency processing to analyze and react to increasing large-scale threats.
After testing multiple options, OpenDNS deployed SanDisk Fusion ioMemory PCIe application accelerators (ioMemory PCIe 300SX), which delivered much faster data reads and processing. Results showed a 63% reduction in processing time in comparison tests (one job dropped from about 400 seconds to ~150 seconds), enabling quicker threat response, higher QoS, and improved customer protection.
