Case Study: Foot Shop achieves £100k warehouse savings and omni-channel growth with Sanderson

A Sanderson Case Study

Preview of the Foot Shop Case Study

Warehouse project delivers £100k cost saving for specialist footwear retailer

Foot Shop, the UK multi-channel retailer behind the Cosyfeet brand, needed to sustain rapid turnover and profit growth while reducing warehouse and supply‑chain costs, expanding online and international channels, and managing customer data under GDPR. To address these challenges the retailer deployed Sanderson’s Elucid multi‑channel retail system as the backbone of its operations.

Sanderson used Elucid to rework fulfilment (continuous pick‑face, RF tracking, virtual stock allocation), integrate ecommerce platforms (Magento, Sage) and marketplaces (Amazon) and to overhaul data management (cleansing a 2.1 million‑record database to active customers/prospects and adding GDPR/HMRC flags). The changes delivered about £100k in first‑year warehouse savings from reduced space and labour, ongoing operational efficiencies, improved stock accuracy and availability, and materially reduced GDPR risk, enabling Foot Shop to scale omni‑channel and international activity.
