Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance - Customer Case study

Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance, the largest orthopedic group in Nashville with 19 clinics and more than 500 employees, needed mobile devices that met HIPAA encryption and security requirements while keeping IT staff productive on the go. Systems Administrator Bob Mathison tested the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and adopted Samsung Knox Workplace to maintain separate, encrypted work and personal profiles and to protect patient data.

Samsung delivered a solution combining the Galaxy Note 4 hardware, Knox Workplace security, Multi Window and S Pen productivity features, plus battery and Ultra Power Saving modes. The result: Mathison was able to consolidate to a single, secure device, locate lost phones, and remotely manage Citrix, VMware and Hyper-V more efficiently—improving HIPAA compliance, reducing risk of accidental data exposure, and boosting IT responsiveness across the organization.
