Tamarack’s Business Productivity Flies Higher with a Mobile Cloud-Based Solution

Tamarack Aerospace Group, a 25-employee aircraft-efficiency technology firm, needed a way for its frequently traveling workforce to work from any device without a heavy IT burden. To meet that challenge, Tamarack partnered with Samsung to pilot a mobile, cloud-based solution using Samsung Galaxy Note8 devices (with S Pen), Smart Switch and the Samsung DeX docking workflow.

Samsung’s devices and tools, combined with partners’ AWS desktop hosting and RedNight services, let employees access their desktop environment anywhere, leave laptops behind, and gave IT the ability to remotely troubleshoot devices. The change delivered measurable gains: Tamarack’s CEO reported being four times more productive signing large batches of documents with the S Pen, employee productivity increased overall, and the environment was containerized to prevent data leakage.
