Stevens Institute of Technology, a premier private research university, faced a challenge in connecting classrooms with minimal disruption when classes went online in 2020. Their initial solutions, including cameras pointed at whiteboards and other digital whiteboards, were not ideal and often required extensive setup. Stevens needed a better technology solution for remote and hybrid learning.

The university implemented Samsung's Flip interactive displays. The solution provided built-in videoconferencing, simple plug-and-play setup, and the ability to annotate and save lessons directly to the school's LMS. As a result, the IT department received many requests from faculty and has installed 50 Samsung interactive whiteboards across campus, with plans to purchase more. The technology made hybrid teaching seamless and immersive, significantly improving engagement for both professors and students.
