Samsung Video Wall Solution Provides “Visual Therapy” for WESTMED Patients

WESTMED Medical Group, a physician-owned multi‑specialty outpatient practice serving nearly 240,000 patients across nine sites, needed a visually engaging digital signage solution for its new 85,000‑square‑foot Ridge Hill center. Facing tight 300‑foot corridors with only a 2.5‑inch inset depth, WESTMED sought ultra‑thin, high‑quality displays and selected Samsung’s ME Series edge‑lit LED LCD displays to deliver a warm, therapeutic environment without compromising picture quality.

Samsung deployed the ME Series as 22 centrally controlled video walls (each made of 2–6 40‑inch panels with 15.1mm bezels), integrated with YCD Multimedia for content management to show high‑resolution therapeutic imagery and patient contributions. The Samsung solution generated “phenomenal” feedback, boosted patient engagement (including repeat visits from patients’ children eager to see images), and led WESTMED to standardize Samsung LED displays across other locations and plan additional installations in Brooklyn and White Plains.
