Samsung technology helps transform legendary Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

SLS Las Vegas, the reborn Sahara property from sbe, needed a technology partner to deliver a modern, interactive guest experience and drive operational efficiency across its 1,600+ rooms and extensive F&B and entertainment venues. To meet that challenge SLS Las Vegas partnered with Samsung, deploying hospitality products including more than 2,200 Samsung Smart Hospitality TVs, Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets and a 60-foot UD Series video wall to modernize check-in, in-room entertainment and public-area displays.

Samsung implemented an integrated solution—Smart Hospitality TVs running Allin Interactive’s DigiHD ITV on Samsung’s H-Browser, Samsung LYNK DRM for encrypted on-demand content, Galaxy tablets for self check-in and housekeeping, plus UD Series video walls—eliminating set-top boxes, reducing infrastructure costs and simplifying installation. The result: a more personalized, convenient guest experience, streamlined operations and improved staff productivity, with rooms at capacity and restaurants, casino and nightclubs consistently busy following the property’s August 2014 opening.
