A Samsung Case Study
Geeter Middle School, a Priority School in Memphis serving about 430 sixth–eighth graders, faced low academic performance, disengaged students and a need to both boost enthusiasm for learning and quantify any gains. Previous tablet app trials showed promise but lacked an integrated platform and back-end data to prove impact. To address this, the school piloted Samsung’s Samsung School package using GALAXY Note 10.1 devices.
Samsung provided a 1:1 Samsung School solution—35 GALAXY Note 10.1 tablets with S Pen, a 65‑inch interactive whiteboard, wireless printing and an Interactive Management/Learning Management system—enabling screen sharing, real-time monitoring and differentiated instruction. Students immediately embraced the technology, participation and classroom energy increased, teachers could assess work live and tailor lessons on the spot, and the school began collecting back-end usage data it can tie to performance improvements. Samsung’s platform delivered measurable classroom-management and data-tracking capabilities that transformed engagement and instructional practice.
