Samsung Mobile Adds Power and Portability to Health Care

Brookdale Senior Living, a leading provider of assisted and independent living and home care, needed a wireless, portable solution to enable more than 3,000 nurses and outpatient care providers to collect and update patient records in real time. Samsung delivered the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets preloaded with Homecare Homebase PointCare Manager and managed with SOTI MobiControl as part of its SAFE enterprise approach.

Samsung supplied 300 Galaxy Tab 10.1 devices (and later extended the rollout with 2,500 Samsung smartphones), allowing Brookdale to lock down and remotely manage devices, enable real‑time documentation at the point of care, and effectively support mobile workforce applications. The deployment improved information flow and device control across care teams, meeting Brookdale’s requirement to mobilize thousands of clinicians and simplifying ongoing fleet management.
