Samsung Galaxy Tablets Help Leader in High-End Car Auctions Drive Interactive Customer Experience

Barrett-Jackson, a leader in high-end collector car auctions, needed to replace static printed information boards with a modern, interactive presentation to improve the experience for sellers, bidders and visitors at its national events. To achieve this, Barrett-Jackson partnered with Samsung and selected Samsung Galaxy tablets as the core digital kiosk solution to deliver high-resolution images, vehicle histories and real-time updates.

Samsung deployed more than 100 Galaxy tablets as anchored interactive kiosks—running a Cordova-based app that locks down device functionality, supports remote APK updates and syncs with Barrett-Jackson’s website feeds. The kiosks launched at the Scottsdale auction (350,000+ attendees) and delivered stronger visitor engagement, overwhelmingly positive feedback for usability and information quality, instant content updates, and dozens of qualified sales leads, while opening new sponsorship and monetization opportunities for Barrett-Jackson.
