Samsung Galaxy Smartphones Improve Field Service Workflows and Productivity

Smithereen Pest Management needed to boost field technician productivity by creating a durable, affordable mobile “virtual office” to replace bulky handhelds and separate phones. They selected Samsung Galaxy smartphones (Grand Prime) alongside the PestPac mobile app from WorkWave so a single device could handle navigation, communications, service records and inspection reporting.

Samsung deployed Galaxy devices that let technicians record chemicals and work, capture photos/videos, communicate with dispatch and customers, and access work orders in real time. The result: streamlined workflows, higher technician adoption and durability in the field — technicians now use the Samsung phones six to 10 times per service call and up to 120 times per day, eliminating daily office visits and noticeably boosting productivity.
