Samsung Displays Power ATM Digital Signage Toppers

International Cash Systems (ICS), a major U.S. ATM provider, needed a way to differentiate its ATM offering by adding affordable, reliable digital signage that could run embedded media without extra players. To build an “ATM digital topper” that fits small placements and drives in‑store promotions and ATM traffic, ICS worked with partners and selected Samsung’s DB22D‑P 21.5” direct‑lit LED touchscreen display.

Using the Samsung DB22D‑P (with Samsung’s embedded SoC/SMART Signage Platform) and content management via Signagelive and Coffman Media, ICS deployed interactive toppers that play scheduled, time‑of‑day promotions. Merchants report increased in‑store sales and higher ATM transaction fees, can sell ad space to offset ATM costs, and ICS has successfully differentiated its solution from competitors using Samsung displays.
