Samsung Displays and Smart TVs Raise the Roof at Silicon Valley Hotels

Huntington Hotel Group needed to modernize guest and meeting-room technology at its new Marriott SpringHill Suites and Residence Inn in San Jose to meet the expectations of tech-savvy visitors from companies like Cisco and Intel. The group selected Samsung to provide Smart Hospitality TVs, interactive digital whiteboards and large commercial display walls to replace traditional TVs and flip charts.

Samsung installed 48-inch 690 Series Smart TVs in all 321 guest rooms (with mobile mirroring via Guest‑Tek), six 75-inch interactive whiteboards in meeting rooms, and multi-screen video walls and hallway displays; the upgrades drove rapid high occupancy and frequent sell-outs, generated immediate large corporate meeting contracts from local travel managers, and established the San Jose properties as a model for other Huntington Hotel Group locations.
