Statue of Liberty Crown Café, operated by Evelyn Hill Inc., used the island’s post–Superstorm Sandy renovation as an opportunity to modernize its food-service experience. The café needed vibrant, energy-efficient digital menu boards that were easy to manage and could support automated, day-parted content—so they partnered with Samsung, selecting MD‑C Series commercial displays featuring the Samsung Smart Signage Platform and MagicInfo content management software.

Samsung and integrator VideoSonic installed multiple MD‑C Series and smaller Samsung displays across the counter and queue, using the displays’ embedded system‑on‑chip media player and MagicInfo to eliminate external players, simplify updates, and lower deployment and operating costs. The result: faster, cleaner installation, reduced maintenance and energy use, and improved customer experience—serving more than 600 guests an hour with smoother service flow and shorter perceived wait times thanks to the Samsung solution.
