A Samsung Case Study
International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas), a rapidly growing K–12 charter district serving more than 5,100 students, needed a single-source IT partner to deliver campus-wide Wi‑Fi, phone systems, surveillance and managed mobile devices that a small internal tech team could support. After a competitive review, ILTexas selected Samsung (with implementation partner c2mtech) to provide networking, phones and mobile computing solutions, including Samsung WEC8050 controllers, WEA302 access points, OfficeServ 7400 phone systems and Galaxy tablets/Chromebooks.
Samsung deployed a high-density, multi-campus solution—more than 500 WEA302 access points with WEC8050 controllers, a Samsung OfficeServ 7400 supporting 550+ digital and VoIP phones, over 4,000 Chromebooks and 870 Galaxy tablets, plus integrated surveillance cameras—completed in about three months. The Samsung implementation delivered reliable campus-wide wireless and centralized management, simplified IT support and secure device controls, enabled better classroom collaboration and videoconferencing, and reportedly saved ILTexas up to $800,000 per school while providing easy scalability.
