Leading Canadian Bank Lowers Support Costs with Samsung Cloud Displays

Leading Canadian Bank, which supports computing across 52 countries, faced high support costs and limited reachability for branch PCs and difficulty equipping and securing home-based employees. To address this, the bank selected Samsung Cloud displays (models TC190 and TC240) integrated with a Citrix XenDesktop virtualization platform, working with vendor Samsung to replace traditional desktops.

Samsung deployed 2,500+ Cloud displays to centrally manage branch computing and enable remote work, cutting travel and support costs, improving uptime, and simplifying setup (15–30 minutes). The deployment enabled 600+ branch units and 900+ call-center staff to work from home, boosted employee morale, and reduced energy consumption by at least 60%, delivering measurable operational and cost benefits for the bank.
