Buffalo Wings & Rings, a full‑service restaurant in Mason, Ohio, faced limited visibility into dining‑floor task timing and inconsistent service—servers weren’t always greeting tables within the 45‑second target and managers weren’t reliably checking back after meals. To fix this, Buffalo Wings & Rings piloted a smartwatch solution using the Hipaax TaskWatch platform delivered on Samsung Gear S2 wearables from Samsung.

Using Samsung Gear S2 devices running the TaskWatch workflow, servers and managers received automated notifications for greetings, drink refills, upsell prompts and manager table visits. The Samsung-powered deployment cut average table turnover from 67 to 62 minutes (a 5‑minute improvement), allowed roughly 10 additional tables per 150 seated, boosted tips and improved customer satisfaction by ensuring timely, consistent service.
