Case Study: BLDD Architects optimizes productivity and client presentations with Samsung Galaxy Tab S

A Samsung Case Study

Preview of the BLDD Architects Case Study

BLDD Architects - Customer Case study

BLDD Architects, a mid-sized architectural firm in Decatur, Illinois, needed a mobile solution that could support virtualized servers, secure remote desktop access, and high‑quality client presentations. IT administrator Dan Reynolds evaluated Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S (and Samsung MDM) because previous tablets were consumer-focused and the firm required enterprise-grade performance, manageability and a display that does justice to architectural renderings.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S allowed Reynolds to run Gmail and Google Docs, use the Android version of VMware Horizon View to monitor virtual servers and access employee desktops over VPN, and present designs via USB/HDMI with exceptional screen quality; Samsung Multi User Mode and Samsung MDM added device sharing and remote management/wipe. The result was faster mobile workflows, improved client presentations, secure remote management, and confidence in broader adoption—prompting Reynolds to call the Galaxy Tab S “the first tablet that’s really serious about the enterprise.”
