Guardian Harvest, a full-service food safety consultancy in California’s Central Valley, helps more than 400 produce growers stay compliant with food safety and agricultural sustainability requirements. The team was overwhelmed by paper files, printed emails, forms, inspection schedules, certifications, and test results, and its previous tools couldn’t support the level of organization and access they needed. Samepage was brought in to replace the paper-heavy process and better manage grower information.

With Samepage, Guardian Harvest created individual grower pages to store audit results, certifications, permits, assessments, water samples, training records, maps, contact details, and more, while field consultants used the mobile app on iPads to update records on site. Samepage also centralized conversations and documents, reducing reliance on email and making information easier to find and share. The result was a 62.5% reduction in audit time, with audits cut from eight hours to three, and the company is rapidly replacing 400 growers’ physical paper files with Samepage.
