This allowed for remote inspections where personnel could read equipment labels and observe signs of aging without a physical visit. SAM invested in technology to triple its delivery speed for 2022 and successfully scanned over 30 substations without any safety incidents. The result was a living digital twin that provides a consistent, high-quality product for virtual inspectors and can be updated throughout each asset's lifespan.
