Estonian Banking Community prevents €5-6m in fraud with Salv Bridge

The Estonian Banking Community faced the challenge of combating increasingly sophisticated financial crime, including fraud, money laundering, and sanctions evasion. Criminals were exploiting the lack of real-time information sharing between institutions. To address this, the community partnered with vendor Salv to implement its product, Salv Bridge, a secure platform for fincrime intelligence sharing.

Salv implemented the Salv Bridge platform, which enabled secure, encrypted, and fully compliant data exchange between the banks. The solution delivered clear results, facilitating over 3,200 collaborative investigations in its first year. This collaboration prevented an estimated €5-6 million from reaching criminal-controlled accounts and dramatically improved response times, with urgent fraud cases receiving a median first response of just 20 minutes.
