Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust cuts power use 4.1 million kW-h with Salute Mission Critical

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust required a new data centre design and build to cut running costs and demonstrate technological leadership. Salute Mission Critical was appointed as the principal contractor to deliver an ultra-efficient and scalable replacement data centre that would reduce the total cost of ownership over its lifecycle.

Salute implemented a highly efficient data centre with a bespoke cooling solution, achieving a predicted Power Usage Effectiveness of 1.3. This solution from Salute created a projected annual saving of 4.1 million kW-h in power consumption and a reduction in emissions of 2.2 million kg, while also providing N+1 resilience and the ability to support future growth.
