Leading Data Centre Facility in Norway validates 1250kW cooling design with Salute Mission Critical

Salute Mission Critical partnered with a leading data centre facility in Norway to overcome the challenge of cooling a new high-density 1250kW data hall. The facility faced potential thermal issues and hot air recirculation due to the high power load within a limited space, and the initial design lacked detailed cooling information and strategies for handling equipment failures.

Using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) assessments, Salute modeled the data hall and ran simulations for both normal and worst-case failure scenarios. This proactive analysis identified and resolved potential overheating risks before construction began. Salute's solution ensured optimal cooling performance, increased confidence in the design, and enabled the client to achieve a high-density configuration with per-rack power densities of up to 35kW.
