Jaguar Land Rover delivers modular data centre in 20 weeks with Salute Mission Critical

Jaguar Land Rover required a new data centre to support its manufacturing capability and its aim to be carbon neutral by 2020. The challenge was to deliver a highly efficient and resilient facility within a very tight timeframe and budget. Salute Mission Critical was appointed as the vendor due to its proven industry expertise and proposed a flexible, modular data centre solution.

Salute Mission Critical designed and delivered an innovative modular data centre, constructed largely off-site to reduce time and costs. The solution featured an indirect air-to-air cooling system that eliminated the need for power-intensive mechanical cooling, achieving an industry-leading design PUE of 1.13. The entire project was completed in just 20 weeks, significantly faster than the typical 12-month timeline, while meeting the client's stringent capital expenditure and efficiency requirements.
