Sweep saves thousands of hours developing its own SFDC configuration features

Sweep, a software company that provides a user-friendly configuration layer for Salesforce, needed to build a complex abstraction over the CRM platform without having to develop every component from scratch. The challenge was to avoid the immense time and engineering effort required to create and maintain their own system for programmatically managing Salesforce configurations.

The solution was implemented using Salto's open-source component, which provided a mature framework for downloading and manipulating Salesforce configurations as code. This allowed a single Sweep engineer to complete work that would have previously required three, saving the company thousands of product development hours. Sweep also benefited from Salto's built-in optimizations and the assurance of a well-maintained, ever-improving codebase.
