Maurice Verbaet Center - Customer Case Study

The Maurice Verbaet Center, a museum housing one of Europe’s largest collections of Belgian post‑war art, struggled with insecure mechanical key management across its 1,500 m2 facility and staff who aren’t always available to open or close spaces. To address the need for user‑friendly, trackable and remote access control, the center replaced its mechanical keys with the high‑end electronic access control system SALTO KS.

SALTO KS was implemented as a wireless solution that lets staff provide access on the go, unblock or block lost tags, create timed access groups, and control doors from smartphones. As a result, the Maurice Verbaet Center now manages 39 users and 24 doors with one tag per user, improving security, saving staff time, and enabling quick granting or revocation of access outside general opening hours.
