IWG (International Workspace Group), the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutions with nearly 3,300 locations across 114 countries, faced inconsistent, manual access control—mechanical locks and disparate card systems—and needed a globally manageable solution to improve customer experience and enable workplace networking. IWG partnered with Clay and SALTO KS, deploying SALTO KS electronic locks alongside a Core API‑backed custom web and mobile access control solution launched in 2017.

SALTO KS implemented a cloud‑connected access control platform that lets center staff monitor door events, instantly revoke tags, grant role‑based access, and automate access based on bookings, with mobile keys rolling out as a customer feature. The SALTO KS solution eliminated physical key management, streamlined remote operations across IWG’s global network, enhanced customer experience, and strengthened community networking opportunities that support business growth.
