A SALTO KS Case Study

Preview of the Caffe Mundi Case Study

Caffe Mundi - Customer Case Study

Caffe Mundi, an independent coffee bar and roaster in central Antwerp, was struggling with basic access management: only two physical keys for multiple buildings meant the owners often had to be present to let staff and suppliers in, and lost keys regularly ate into their time. To solve this, Caffe Mundi chose SALTO KS and implemented SALTO KS Keys as a Service to modernize access control.

SALTO KS installed a wireless electronic access control system with mobile remote opening, one-tag access for multiple doors, configurable access groups and an Office Mode, plus a built-in intrusion alarm. Since deploying SALTO KS (doors have been smartphone-accessible since July 2015), the café has cut the time spent locating or lending keys, eliminated recurring lock/forced-entry issues, and noticeably improved staff safety and operational flexibility.
