Salt Edge enables Yolt to connect its users to more than 3,000 banks

Yolt, the smart money app and venture of ING, wanted to expand its finance-management offering in Italy so users could view all their accounts in one place under Open Banking. To achieve this, Yolt partnered with Salt Edge and adopted Salt Edge’s financial data aggregation API to collect and consolidate account and transaction data from thousands of banks with user consent.

Salt Edge implemented its aggregation API into Yolt’s platform, enabling Italian users to connect to more than 3,000 banks and see consolidated account views in one app. The live integration leverages Salt Edge’s global network (3,100+ institutions) and security standards, helping Yolt scale its Open Banking rollout and deliver measurable improvements in account coverage and user convenience.
